Michele Skelding

Michele Skelding is a principal at Capital Sage Ventures and a TIGER 21 Chair-Austin. Michele brings deep industry knowledge during a diverse career across the technology industry, including Fortune 100 companies and early stage venture backed start-ups, including Appconomy, LifeProof, Augmentix, Dell and AT&T. Ms. Skelding also served as SVP of Technology and Innovation at the Austin Chamber of Commerce/Opportunity Austin EDC, leading efforts to boost the city’s reputation as an incubator of innovation, including access to private equity and venture capital.
Ms. Skelding is an integral member of Austin’s innovation community. She has served in leadership positions with the Central Texas Angel Network, a Mentor and Advisor at UT’s Cockrell School of Engineering, Med-to-Market, Seton 50, SKU and Mass Challenge Accelerators, G-51 Capital, ATX Ventures, and a Co-Chair for 50/50 Women on Boards.
Michele served on Austin Technology Council’s board, Texas State STAR Park’s Innovation Advisory Committee, and as a key advisor of the Mayor’s Innovation Zone, to leverage the Dell Medical School and Dell Seton Medical Center investment into a large economic development project for Austin.
